Hirdaramani Group creates winning presence at inaugural EDEX Job Fair

The Hirdaramani Group’s notable presence at the inaugural EDEX job fair added credence to the Group’s commitment to empower the country’s youth. With a team of experienced HR andindustry experts on hand, the Hirdaramani team conducted one on one discussions with over 2,000 individuals who visited their stall at EDEX EXPO 2014.  The team provided immediate career guidance and information on opportunities. EDEX, is the largest and most comprehensive National Higher Education and Careers Expo in Sri Lanka and isheld annually in Colombo and Kandy. The launch of the Job Fair is aimed at providing an opportunity for youth ready for the ‘world of work’ to interact directly with employers, understand the expectations of the job market and seek employment. “The ethos behind the EDEX fair, to empower Sri Lankan youth to be globally competitive, meshes perfectly with the Hirdaramani Group’s commitment to empowering education and creating opportunity. The event offered us a unique occasion to meet a wide variety of potential employees. The wide range of opportunities on offer from the apparel to IT, finance, retail, leisure and power sectors made a visit to the Hirdaramani stall a must for most of the attendees.
