ICC Sri Lanka has announced the second intake of its educational program, Foundation Certificate in International Business (FCIB). The evening classes will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. starting from 11 May, once a week on Wednesdays for three months to make it easier for employed persons to participate. The location is SLIM Business School, 50, Kitulwatte Road, Colombo 8. The lectures are held in English and the students require minimum GCE OL standard in English.
The teaching modules and respective lecturer panel are as follows: ICC, Incoterms, Carnet, and Certificates of Origin & Resolution of Business Disputes – Shanil Fernando; Logistics, Freight Forwarding and Multimodal Transport – Captain Palitha Lanerole; Customs Procedure – Saman de Silva; International Marketing and Macro and Micro Economics – Keerthi Gunawardane; Business Organisation and Management – Chandani Werapitiya; E-Business, Internet and Social Media – Rukshika Gunawardane; Principles of Financial and Management Accounting – M.Z.M. Ghouse.
