Etisalat has carved a niche for itself in the highly competitive and volatile cellular market in Sri Lanka. Transforming itself to the Etisalat brand name, it has emerged as a leader in cellular technology in Sri Lanka after commencing operations in Sri Lanka in 2010.

“Web Patashala, an online, e-learning tool allows students and teachers to access educational material from the national syllabus, alleviating certain constraints to learning and gaining information. Etisalat donated notebook PCs with Web Patashala to 342 national schools around the island to give a boost to the project, enabling these students greater access to educational material, whilst increasing the capacity and capability of the teachers,” informed Ratnayake.
