01Taking a bold and innovative step into a new frontier, EDULINK Campus recently launched the Corporate Engagement Arm of their campus at the Jaic Hilton.

Titled ‘Redefining the possible’, the Corporate Engagement Arm of EDULINK will work collaboratively with the business entities in the country, by aligning with the industry priorities to yield mutually beneficial results.

EDULINK will match industry interests and needs and utilise their expertise to help facilitate education, outreach, workforce partnerships, talent recruitment resources, mentoring and internships and engage corporate leadership and employees through executive education.

Prof. Helen Mason, Group Academic Director, EDULINK Consultants, Dubai, UAE stated, “With our vast experience in building productive corporate partnerships and alliances, we are confident that we are well placed to connect EDULINK Campus with external partners in the business landscape. We believe that these opportunities will attract businesses near and far, large and small, established and developing. We at EDUINK will collaborate with this diverse group of organisations to exceed both corporate and campus expectations.”

She added, “We will help establish and nurture partnerships that advance the development of tomorrow’s leaders. We will create tailored opportunities designed to maximise the effectiveness of recruiting and ensure that organisation’s presence with the campus is value-added and visible to our unique student body. This will increase the organisations ability to explore human resource potential; whilst helping our students prepare for the workplace and develop and create vital linkages. Such partnerships give our students the best possible start to their careers while at the same time giving employers direct access to our greatest resource: which is a large group of passionate, driven and diverse students and recent graduates.”

Giving a further insight into this initiative, Stephen Paulraj, Trainer, Coach and Consultant, (EDULINK International Campus) explained that the focus will be on four key areas that will consist of Executive Internships, Student Support Services, Business Consultancy and Training and Development.

Executive Internships: the main aim is to bring in new knowledge to the organisations. Designed and focused on future leaders of organisations. Designed to shape future learning experiences with a more hands-on role in both strategic and operational areas through cross- industry and cross border experiential learning opportunities, EDULINK will continuously push forward and create participatory partnerships that will inspire the next generation of organisation leaders to face growing current and future competitions.

Student Support Services: The next success story is the students, comprehensive program of academic support combined with organisational exposure, designed to achieve two objectives. First provide the students necessary organisational exposure while studying to maximise the opportunities for graduation and gainful employment that matches their career interests. Secondly providing them guided opportunities to take part in organisation surveys and support services to bring out the details for decision making.

Business Consultancy: Organisations need experts in specialised areas. EDULINK will link the experts with the organisations to maximise the opportunities available in the trade. Consultants come with broad professional experience and sound academic background in their chosen fields.

Training and Development to enhance workforce education: Need based one off training programs and training need mapping can bring in the necessary skills and competencies to the organisation. Means of training will be based on the generation mix of the work force. Trainers will work with organisations to fulfil their corporate training and continuing education needs to custom-design them.
