CFPS students excel at legal exams

Two CFPS law students have excelled at their respective national and international examinations. Uditha Devapriya, a CFPS Law School student was awarded an achievement award and scholarship by the University of London in recognition of his outstanding performance. This award is given to students with the highest aggregate mark in their first year of study with the University of London International Programs. Devapriya, who studies law on a full scholarship from CFPS, is now getting a full scholarship from the University of London for his performance during the first year. Another CFPS student, B.S. Aeywardane, has obtained a mark of 81% at the October 2013 Law School Entrance Examination, becoming the top-ranked student in Sri Lanka. 155 CFPS Law School students from a total of 177 island-wide have passed the October 2013 Law Entrance Examination. In a statement, CFPS Law School Chairman Saliya Peiris praised both the students as well as the tutorial staff for doing a tremendous job. He said that once again the CFPS Law School has proved that it is the iconic leader in legal education in Sri Lanka
