AAT Sri Lanka ready to serve Ratnapura better with opening of new branch office

Strengthening professional accountancy education in the city of gems, the opening of the AAT Sri Lanka Ratnapura branch, at Leo Building, Bandaranayake Mw, Ratnapura took place on 3 July. This new branch will offer students in Sabaragamuwa Province a full range of products and services by the association such as student guides, study texts and registration applications, etc. 

The opening ceremony of the branch was graced by Lalith T. Fernando, President AAT Sri Lanka as Chief Guest, Saman Siri Lal – Chairman, Student Promotion and Brand Marketing Committee, L.G.J.G. Gunathilaka – Council Member, Lester Aponso – Alternative Chairman, Student Promotion and Brand Marketing Committee and Tishanga Kumarasinghe, Chief Executive Officer, AAT Sri Lanka among the distinguished invitees.

Lalith T. Fernando mentioned in his speech: “AAT Sri Lanka as the leading professional accountancy education institute producing middle level accountants to the country is always keen to provide its services to as many people as possible from both urban and rural areas, ensuring its commitment towards the welfare of the population of our country students and AAT members.”

Free registrations were offered to four students to mark the day of opening the branch office in Ratnapura covering Sabaragamuwa Province. With the addition of yet another new branch in the area to the network of AAT Sri Lanka branches, it renewed its bond and relationship with the students and members, opening its doors to those who seek professional educational opportunities. This endeavour would no doubt inspire individuals leaving schools to reach their goals and targets with ease. 

With the association’s expertise and knowledge in professional education for over 27 years, AAT Sri Lanka will continue to offer a range of services beneficial to existing and potential students and members. Supplemented by a new curriculum launched with ‘Employment Fast Tracked’ in the year 2015, AAT Sri Lanka will continue to enrich the lives of the rural student professionals.
