Randhi being introduced to Deputy Minister Policy Planning and Economic Development Dr. Harsha De Silva, who also happens to be the best known Truman alumnus in the island, by SUSA Director Padmasena Dissanayake
Randhi Perera, an alumnus from American College of Higher Education (ACHE), recently became Scholarships for USA’s latest placement at Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri.
Having completed two years at ACHE, Randhi is transferring to Truman to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Truman, one of the very few public liberal arts schools in the US, is also ranked as the No. 1 public university in the Midwest. Truman is also well known for its generous credit transfers and amazing scholarships. Truman is one of the finest examples of a US university offering top quality education at the most affordable price.
Sharing his experience, Randhi said:”From the day I started my post-secondary education at the American College of Higher Education, my dream was to transfer to Truman State University. I started looking for a local representative and discovered SUSA through the media. Once I submitted my CV to SUSA they negotiated a scholarship covering 50% of my tuition instantly. They are trustworthy, professional and transparent. Their fee is very fair for a task they’re passionately dedicated to and caring so much about each candidate individually. They inspired me greatly and made my dream a reality in record time.”
Truman State International Admissions Coordinator Brittney Robinson stated: “Randhi Perera has made the excellent choice of Truman State University for his educational home away from home. Randhi joins the many other star students from Sri Lanka who have chosen Truman State University including MP Dr. Harsha De Silva, who studied at Truman for his undergraduate degree. Truman has been called home by many top quality students over the years for its rigorous yet rewarding academic curriculum and its amazingly affordable education. The best strategy for students aspiring to study abroad is to find a university that feels right or is a right fit for the student. Size, major, reputation and location are a part of it but it goes beyond that. The right fit is about being comfortable in an environment, being around people who welcome and like you and having professors who know your name and are truly committed to your education. An environment that is the right fit fosters personal, social and academic growth intertwined and in such a way that it feels good to you. Most students from Scholarships for USA find this right fit at Truman.”
