Marking a decade of successful operation in the market, NEXT Campus celebrates this achievement with the launch of a brand new logo and positioning strategy, that has received positive responses from key stakeholders and employers.
With student success and satisfaction having always been at the heart of their product, the new logo clearly defines their ethos of quality teaching and skill development and highlights and reflects their vision of helping prepare today’s graduates for the competitive and dynamic work environment of the future.
The new logosports a vibrant and exciting look in red, white and blackand depicts a crown, a graduation cap, a stately elephant and a coat of arms.
NEXT Campus Managing Director Kumudu Abeywardena commented, that the message of the logo was “life is an open book to be filled with living experiences, as we journey on each day. It is a castle, a rock, a fortress and a stronghold which must be conquered in life’s journey. Education is the key to that castle, and the pen to your book. It is the sword that will protect you and is your coat of arms which distinguishes you for who you are. It is an elephant, mighty, majestic and stately which depicts the stability you have mastered. Your life is your castle and education is the claim to your kingdom.”
The logo was designed by Theewra, managed by Dilanjan Seneviratne, Graduate of Mahatma Gandhi University MBA and penned by Ruwandi Perera, Graduate of Birmingham City Univeristy MBA.
Giving a further insightinto the comprehensive new positioning strategy they have embarked on she added, ”Our values haven’t changed, but like every forward looking organisation, we are conscious of the need to continually evolve. Therefore the new strategy is focused on investing in and helping unlock the potential of Sri Lanka’s future leaders. It is about equipping our students to not only build careers, but to build an entrepreneurial spiritand to take their organisations to the next level through implementing innovative strategies. We believe our students have unlimited potentialand that NEXT Campus is the launch pad whichoffers them unlimited opportunities. We are excited to see us moving forward with an updated visual identity that is a strong representation of our excellence, passion and innovation.”
Whilst celebrating its landmark tenth anniversary and logo change,the campus will also continue to grow in size and stature. NEXT Campus will further expand their premises this year, to have a separate area that is specifically suited for undergraduate and postgraduate education.
Kumudu explained, “We wanted to provide a structured environment that is conducive for postgraduate studies. Our concentration in the future will be mainly on bringing the bestundergraduate and post graduate degrees programs to the country. Over the next couple of years, NEXT Campus will concentrate on building and strengthening relationships with a number of universities that has gained a leadership position and reputation in delivering top undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs which are recognised and endorsed by employers.”
She added, “We hope to bring in top undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs through affiliations with selected universities, whose curriculums are structured to be highly industry-oriented with emphasis on all-round personality enhancement and is geared towards equipping students for handling the challenges of the corporate world. By doing this, we not only serve our students better but also contribute towards enhancing the capacity and value of the human capitol in the country.”
