Worshipful reverence

A newly-constructed Samadhi Buddha statue at Matale Vidyananda Pirivena was unveiled by the President for veneration by the public.

The President also presented the Viharadhipathi, Senior Lecturer of Rajarata University Ven. Olaganwatte Chandrasiri Thera, with a Buddha statue  – Pic by Sudath Silva
