Wooing Japanese investments

Senior Minister Sarath Amunugama chats with Central Bank Governor Nivard Cabraal in Tokyo at the reception following the Sri Lanka Business Forum promoting investments from Japan organised by Sri Lanka Embassy in partnership with New World Securities Ltd.

Ambassador Admiral Wasantha Karannagoda, Citrus Leisure Director Dilith Jayaweera, Pan Asia Bank Chairman Nimal Perera, New World Securities Director and CEO Viraj Malawana, Royal Ceramics Director Tharana Thordeniya, and New World Securities Director Institutional and Foreign Sales are also present. The forum drew around 100 representatives from Japanese companies. Dr. Amunugama and Cabraal, who are in Tokyo for IMF World Bank annual meetings, also addressed the Japanese participants at the forum
