Uproar over missing millions in Kotte MC

The main opposition UNP yesterday staged a protest campaign spearheaded by its MP and Head of the Campaign Committee of the Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte Municipal Council Dr. Harsha de Silva opposite the Kotte Municipal Council against its failure to respond or take action over what it alleged as the sorry state of affairs of the council.

The UNP has alleged that the Auditor General could not even give a qualified opinion on the accounts of the council as they were so weak.
