Tourists walk inside the Dutch Fort in Galle. Tourist arrivals in Sri Lanka edged up 2.8% year-on-year in November, Government data showed on Tuesday, with the number of foreign visitors rising for the 55th straight month since the near-three-decade civil war ended in May 2009. Total arrivals in the first 11 months of this year have already surpassed the annual record high of 1,005,605 hit last year.
