The main opposition UNP marched to Hyde Park Grounds in two groups from Darley Road and Slave Island yesterday. The UNP and the trade unions led by the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna and Opposition political parties and organisations in the ‘Vipakshaya Virodhaya’ held a rally at Hyde Park Grounds last evening against State oppression and corruption and to push for the abolishment of the executive presidential system – Pic by Sanjeewa Niroshana
