Veteran politician Dr. Sarath Amunugama was yesterday sworn in as the Deputy Minister of Finance, a portfolio he held a few years back as well. Prior to yesterday’s appointment, Dr. Amunugama was the Senior Minister for International Monetary Cooperation.
Here Dr. Amunugama receives his appointment from President and Finance Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa. In a mini-reshuffle, Geethanjana Gunawardena who was the Deputy Finance Minister was appointed as the Deputy Minister for Civil Aviation - Pix by Chandana Perera
