Mahinda opens Ugandan Trade Exhibition

Kampala: President Mahinda Rajapaksa and Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni declared open a Trade Exhibition recently. The exhibition that took place on the sidelines of the Commonwealth Local Government Conference 2013 in Kampala Uganda, contained an array of products from Uganda and other East African nations. Minister of External Affairs Prof. G.L. Peiris, Secretary to the President Lalith Weeratunga and Honorary Consul of Sri Lanka in Uganda V. Kananathan were also present at this occasion.

President Rajapaksa currently, on his second official visit to Uganda delivered the keynote address at the Commonwealth Local Government Conference (CLGC) 2013 held in Kampala Uganda, under the theme ‘Developmental Local Government: Putting Local Government at the heart of development.
