Lucky Homes to serve booming housing, property market

Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa last week said that Lucky Homes Ltd. has retained their valued customers by providing service with high quality standards with utmost confidence. He added that the country is gaining tremendous progress in the aftermath of three decades of conflict which devastated the country.

“All stakeholders in the society including artistes and professionals made their contribution for the freedom of the country. I am confident that the company would not breach of the trust kept by the investors in the company,” Minister Rajapaksa said at the launch of Lucky Homes Ltd., specialising in housing constructions, real estate solution and eco-friendly property development.

The Minister also launched the company website in the presence of company chairman Captain Sumith Kalawila, Managing Directress Christina Kalawila and other members of the top management.

Chairman of the company of Lucky Homes Private Limited Captain Sumith Kalawila said that some companies in the construction industry have compromised basic components of their industry – the quality standards. He was of the view that many stakeholders in the industry have ignored the creativity and efficiency of the industry.

He said that Sri Lanka has inherited a construction culture since ancient times. “King Dutugemunu was well known for making payments to those who were involved in the building of Ruwanweliseya.” Kalawila added that Lucky Homes, which has a focus on efficiency, quality standards and a high degree of creativity, aims to provide the customers a total real estate package but in a flexible manner. The Chairman said that his company has made tremendous progress in the field with the dedication and commitment of company staff, including the top management and its customers.

He said that the company staffers have been trained to maximise their potential and bring out the best in them for the common goal.

Chief Executive Officer Hemalal Priyankara, General Manager Sanjeewi Bastian, Assistant Manager Chaturanga Dharmakeerthi, Finance Controller Chaminda Gamage, Assistant General Manager RMCH Hanwella and Company Secretary Nilmini Hirimuthugoda were also present.
