Indian cement firm holds annual ‘Architect of the Year 2012’ in Colombo

India’s J.K. Cement Ltd’s picked Sri Lanka as the venue for its 21st ‘Architect of the Year Award,’ held yesterday at Cinnamon Grand. It was the held for the first time outside India and the awards recognizes outstanding efforts of architects in the region including those from India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Seychelles, Nepal, Mauritius, Bhutan and Maldives.
