Fashion fiesta begins!

The colourful and upbeat collection inspired by hearts, flowers and all things bright by celebrated Spanish designer Agatha Ruiz de la Prada opened Colombo’s much-awaited fashion extravaganza, HSBC Colombo Fashion Week 2013, last night at the Hilton Colombo.

Celebrating 10 years of success, the first day showcased collections of 10 designers, of which two were international designers. HSBC CFW is dubbed as the region’s ‘true international fashion week’ and is the premier lifestyle event of the country. This year, the show focuses on young designers with the intention of empowering more youth to take Sri Lanka to the world ramp. More inspiring designs will be on ramp tonight as well as tomorrow at the hosting hotel featuring local and international talent
