Daily FT’s Uditha wins Business Journalist of the Year

Daily FT staffer Uditha Jayasinghe bagged the Business Journalist of the Year Award last night at the annual Journalism Excellence competition jointly organised by The Editors’ Guild of Sri Lanka and the Sri Lanka Press Institute. Last year too Daily FT journalist Cheranka Mendis won the coveted award, making the achievement two years in a row for Sri Lanka’s only daily business paper and a record in the competition’s 12-year history.
