Constructing a Construction City

The foundation stone for a mega Construction City titled ‘CCity’ in Peliyagoda on a 16 acre land area owned by State Engineering Corporation to provide all products and services for the building industry and commercial and individual customers was laid yesterday by Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa on the invitation of project brainchild Minister of Construction Engineering Services, Housing and Common Amenities Wimal Weerawansa. The cost of the project is Rs. 1.2 billion and the complex will have 261 outlets – Pic by Chaminda Hittetiya
