Agriculture Minister nourishes himself with oats drink till the last drop!

Agriculture Minister Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena savours a drink made out of White Oats at the Diamond Best Foods stall after opening the three-day International Processed food, Beverage, Packaging and Agricultural exhibition at the Sirimavo Bandaranaike Memorial Exhibition Centre at the BMICH yesterday. The event is showcasing 300 companies from 15 countries, promoting over 10,000 new products and services, the organisers said. The exhibition will run until Sunday.

The event is a public-private partnership, with the Ministries of Industry and Commerce and Agriculture supporting the event for the 10th successive year. - Pic by Upul Abayasekara
