Singapore Airlines is offering the chance for two to travel in exclusive luxury and comfort through an online contest launched on SIAjourneys.com.
A series of attractive prizes will be given out during the contest period, which ends on 23 October 2012. These include 50,000 KrisFlyer miles, a pair of return Economy Class tickets to any SIA destination, and the grand prize of a pair of return Business Class tickets to the winner’s chosen destination on the SIA network.
The contest comprises a series of games and quizzes, and different activities will be rolled out progressively in three stages. Prizes will correspond with each activity phase. To win, players simply need to accumulate the most points at the end of each respective stage.
Contestants will earn bonus points for every SIA ticket purchased between 8 June 2012 and 23 October 2012 (for travel up to 31 December 2012).
KrisFlyer members, participants of a previous Boeing 747 quiz, and players who solve a special game level, will also earn bonus points to help boost their total score.
Aside from SIA tickets and KrisFlyer miles, participants who perform the best at each game level will win KrisShop vouchers worth S$200. Players will also receive exclusive SIA digital giveaways such as desktop screensavers and mobile wallpapers for completed activities.
“SIAjourneys.com allows us to better engage with our customers and the public in a fun way. The games are designed to be simple yet challenging, and by making them mobile-friendly, they’re accessible on the go. We also wanted to reward our customers for their loyalty and interest in us, whether it’s being a KrisFlyer member, purchasing tickets during the contest period, or having taken part in the previous B747 quiz,” said Tan Chik Quee, Senior Vice President Marketing.
Participants simply need to register at SIAjourneys.com, to create their profile and track their progress online or via mobile devices.
Content, charting SIA’s evolution from a small Southeast Asian airline to the world’s most awarded carrier, is also accessible on the website. SIAJourneys.com, first launched in February this year to commemorate the retirement of the B747 from SIA’s fleet, continues to tell the Airline’s story of innovation, product leadership and service. It will culminate in SIA’s fifth anniversary of being the first airline in the world to operate the A380 aircraft in October.
“The A380 has enabled us to introduce our most premium and exclusive inflight products to date, and continues to inspire us to innovate with new products and services for our customers,” said Tan. “As we celebrate the A380’s fifth anniversary with SIA, it is only befitting that we share our tradition of service and innovation with our customers through this contest.”
