TripAdvisor awards several John Keells Hotels with Certificates of Excellence

Cinnamon Lodge Habarana, Chaaya Blu Trincomalee and Bentota Beach Hotel were awarded Certificates of Excellence by TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel site. TripAdvisor enables travellers to plan and have the perfect trip and has come to be known as the most reliable source for travel information. TripAdvisor awards this certificate to hotels around the world who consistently receive excellent ratings from travellers annually.

Cinnamon Lodge Habarana located in the heart of the cultural triangle is a man-made green-haven; a bare land previously used for chena cultivation transformed and reforested with trees saved from the banks of the Mahaveli Project to recreate the lush 27 acre forest. The five star resort offers affordable indulgence to all ages, in keeping with its tag line Indulgence for All Ages.

Chaaya Blu Trincomalee which recently completed a year of operations is the first four star quality accommodation to open in the East Coast; and a foremost investment in tourism made after the conclusion of the war.
