The Theva Residency walked away with two silver medals and two bronze medals at the Culinary Art Exhibition 2013 presented by the Chef’s Guild of Lanka. The silver medals were won by Executive Chef Sujith for his three-course vegetarian menu and Sidath for the cocktail arrack competition.  The bronze medals were won by Chef Herath for hot cooking live and Wasantha for the Sunquick mocktail competition. This exhibition is the premier platform to showcase the talents of Sri Lankan Chefs and Bartenders. It is a great achievement for a small boutique hotel in the hills to compete with large hotels nationwide and be awarded four medals in prestigious categories. The food at The Theva Residency is no ordinary fare and you should expect even the simplest snack to be served with a slight Theva twist. Feast on gourmet meals throughout the day as the in-house Chef and his team work to produce a range of culinary delights; a fusion of East and West, new and old. The Theva Residency is opened to outsiders for lunch and dinner by prior booking. Please contact the hotel on 081 7388296/99 for reservations.
