The weekend commencing 4 February has become a window of opportunity for an exciting overseas holiday with the announcement of special return fares from Colombo to Singapore and the Maldives on Emirates.
The award-winning, Dubai-based international airline has got into the holiday spirit to celebrate the coming together of Sri Lanka’s Independence Day (4 February), Milad-Un-Nabi (Holy Prophet’s birthday) on 5 February and Nawam Full-Moon Poya Day on 7 February to offer these special fares that will be valid during this period.
The all-inclusive special fare to the Maldives on Economy Class is priced at just Rs. 20,124, a reduction of Rs. 5,500 from the regular fare. A special all-inclusive companion fare of Rs. 27,015 is on offer to Singapore when purchased with a standard fare ticket priced at Rs. 31,815 all-inclusive.
“Sri Lankans welcome long weekends, and these special fares add to the lure of the holiday,” Emirates Sales Manager in Sri Lanka Devika Ellepola said. “Early booking is advised, as we expect tickets to sell fast.”
Available for sale from 23 to 28 January, the two special fares require passengers to complete outbound travel between 3 and 7 February, but they may return on any day up to 29 February.
In addition to the special fares, passengers who take up the offer will enjoy the generous Emirates baggage allowance of 30kg on Economy Class.
The winner of more than 500 top international awards, Emirates operates daily flights to Singapore, and seven flights a week from Colombo to the Maldives. The Emirates network now comprises 118 destinations in 68 countries.
