Ritz-Carlton has opened a hotel in Macau. The Ritz-Carlton, Macau is situated at Galaxy Macau, Phase II – Macau’s newest fully integrated resort which gives guests easy access to a wide range of leisure and entertainment options, including premium shopping, dining, and multifunctional meeting and event spaces.
Easily accessible by air, land and sea, 31 million tourists visited Macau in 2014, with the majority visiting the Special Administrative Region from mainland China.
“The Ritz-Carlton, Macau plays a key role in our group’s expansion in Asia Pacific,” said The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company President and Chief Operating Officer Herve Humler. “We are delighted that we are able to introduce our Ritz-Carlton service values to this dynamic location and provide a new, exciting luxury hotel experience for our loyal guests.”
The Ritz-Carlton, Macau is an all-suite hotel with over 250 suites on the top floors of the integrated resort.
The hotel is adorned in Azulejo tiles, a form of Portuguese or Spanish ceramic tile that are synonymous with the heritage décor found in Macau today.
The outdoor pool at the hotel provides views over Cotai, whilst, for those seeking privacy, the poolside cabanas provide a more intimate retreat. Guests can also immerse themselves in sensorial bliss at the hotel’s Espa which offers ten treatment rooms and three couples’ suites.
Classic Cantonese fine dining is available at Lai Heen; high-teas or cocktails can be enjoyed at The Ritz-Carlton Bar & Lounge; while organic fare and seafood can be had at The Ritz-Carlton Pool Bar.
For special events the hotel has over 900 m2 of flexible space.
