Renuka City Hotel launches new wing with luxury rooms

Renuka City Hotel one of Colombo’s premier business hotels, and a winner of Agoda’s Gold Circle Award 2012, has expanded with luxury guest rooms, a state of the art fitness centre, an infinity pool and a pool bar.

In addition to the customary hospitality of Hotel Renuka and Renuka City Hotel, for which they have an unblemished reputation for, the recently commenced operation of its latest extension will give Renuka City Hotel’s guests more reason to enjoy their stay at this stylish city hotel. The new wing features eighteen superior guestrooms, an infinity swimming pool and a kid’s pool on the rooftop with breathtaking sea views, a state-of-the-art fitness centre and a trendy pool bar. The extension was opened at the end of February 2013 after eleven months of thoughtful planning and construction with the support of the architects Design Team 3 from Singapore and contractors Sanken Construction Pvt Ltd.

The newly constructed deluxe rooms are designed to be spacious and luxurious. With boarded timber floors, comfortable interior and furnishings, and a special lighting system, visitors will feel at ease and relaxed in their rooms. All rooms are equipped with a variety of modern amenities including 32’ flat screen televisions, safety deposit lockers, tea/coffee making facilities, bath amenities, mini-bars and free access to Wi-Fi internet facilities in the guest rooms and public areas. Several rooms offer a breathtaking view of the sea as well.

For those who want to stay in shape, the new fitness centre at the hotel, with stunning ocean views will certainly be a treat. Equipped with the latest exercise equipment from Cybex, the Renuka gym is a great way to stay fit while travelling. The infinity pool on the rooftop of the hotel provides a lovely venue for Swimming, especially at sun set. The pool bar offers a stylish hangout, with a wide range of snacks and drinks; an ideal after-work meeting place.
