OZO Colombo and Amari Galle welcomed Miss England 2016, Elizabeth Grant, and the seven finalists of the Miss England 2017 pageant. The British beauties were in the country for two weeks to participate in a stunning bikini photo shoot held across the beaches of Sri Lanka as the battle for the coveted title of Miss England continued.
The Miss England pageant, which has partnered with the Miss Premier Ceylon pageants, aims to promote Sri Lanka as a travel destination across the UK and the Miss Premier Ceylon pageants, which will be staged in Sri Lanka on an annual basis.
OZO Colombo and Amari Galle partnered the program and served as the perfect backdrop for the competition. The ladies were entertained for an evening of canapés to a background of live music at ON14 Rooftop Bar and Lounge at OZO Colombo on their second day. Miss Yorkshire was encouraged to get on stage and showcase her talent by entertaining the guests with two songs.
The finalists posed for the bikini photo shoot at Amari Galle before taking a break to enjoy the pool and the sun at the brand-new property. Stunned by the view, the food and the design of the hotel, the ladies went on to state their appreciation on social media, indicating that Amari Galle was ‘the best hotel’ they had been to and by far, ‘the favourite’.
Amari Galle is ONYX Hospitality Group’s brand-new property in Sri Lanka’s south-west coastal and historical city of Galle. The 172-room Amari Galle, located a short distance from the UNESCO World Heritage site, Galle Fort, has recently welcomed its very first guests. Miss England and the Miss England finalists were welcomed at the hotel on its second day of operation.
