New Chairman, Directors at Amaya Leisure

Three new Directors have been appointed to the Board of Directors of Amaya Leisure Plc including a change in Chairmanship.

Hayleys Chairman Mohan Pandithage has been appointed Chairman replacing Chandra Wickramasinghe who has been made Deputy Chairman. Mrs. Shyamalie Weerasooriya and Mrs. Ramani Nelum Ponnambalam are the two new Directors appointed to the Board of Amaya Leisure Plc., both in Independent Non Executive capacity.

Weerasooriya serves as the CFO of LB Finance Plc and is a graduate of University of Colombo, obtaining a Second Class Upper Division degree in B.Sc. She is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka.

Ponnambalam currently serves as CEO and Managing Director of Macbertan Ltd and Non Executive Director of Alliance Finance Plc and Hotel Services Plc. She has held senior management position in large private sector entities including as Director of McLarens Holdings Ltd, GAC Shipping Ltd and as Joint Managing Director at Cars R Us Ltd.The appointments follow the resignation of Dhammika Perera previously Deputy Chairman and K.D.H. Perera. Hayleys has controlling interest in Amaya Leisure.
