Minister of Aviation Reginald Cooray addresses the gathering, as Mihin Lanka Chief Executive Officer/Director Rakhita Jayawardena and Mihin Lanka Chairman Ajith Dias look on
Mihin Lanka recently relocated its sales and ticketing office to a new central location in Colombo. The new office is located at No. 15 A Alfred Place Colombo 3, in the same premises as Mihin Lanka’s head office. The opening ceremony was attended by a gathering of distinguished guests and officials, as well as the senior management of Mihin Lanka.
Commenting on the opening, Minister Reginald Cooray stated, “At present, Sri Lanka is enjoying an economic growth of 7% which is second to China in this region. If we continue to maintain this growth for the next two years, we can capitalise on many opportunities that will ensure the development of the Sri Lankan aviation industry. Mihin Lanka must put the country first in all aspects of its operation and we must also recognise that the airline has an important role to play in supporting tourism and trade in Sri Lanka and the region. I would like to congratulate the Mihin Lanka team on opening this new office, which will enable the airline to effectively serve the travel needs of its valued passengers.”
