Sri Lanka’s premier hospitality brand Jetwing and Lufthansa City Center (LCC) announced the visit of Klaus Henschel, Managing Director of LCC, to the country for the first time from 29 to 31 July.
Professionally qualified and experienced in the travel and tourism industry, Klaus will be focusing on providing unique insights and advice based on his understanding and knowledge of international tourism.
Appointed as Managing Director of LCC since 1999, he has overseen operations expand tremendously – with LCC being the largest independent travel agency chain in Germany, and the fifth largest travel management company in Europe currently.
This visit continues Sri Lanka’s and Jetwing’s affiliation with LCC especially after Jetwing Vil Uyana’s victory of the Environmental Award which honours the best idea for a sustainable usage of natural resources with the aim to strengthen the awareness for environmentally supporting activities, at the LCC General Assembly Awards held in Dubai, on 29 November 2014.
