Godamunne, Nimal on Hotel Services Board

Two new nominees of Hayleys Plc have been appointed to the Board of Hotel Services (Ceylon) Plc, the owning company of Ceylon Continental Hotel.

Hayleys owns 51% stake in the Company.

The new appointments are L.K.B. Godamunne as a Non Executive Independent Director and Nimal Perera as a Non Executive Director. The new appointment of Godamunne follows the resignation of J.D. Bandaranayake from the Hotel Services Board. He also resigned from Hayleys Plc Board last week.

Godamunne serves as a Non Executive Independent Director at Hayleys Plc. He was the former Country Director of the United Nations World Food Program in 1995 and former Secretary General and Member Board of Directors of the Mahaweli Authority of Sri Lanka.

Nimal serves as a Non-Executive Director at Hayleys Plc and Managing Director of Royal Ceramics Plc. He is also the Deputy Chairman of Pan Asia Bank, Director Group Finance of Amaya Leisure Plc, Director Fortress Resorts, LB Finance, Sathosa Motors and Vallibel Finance.
