Emirates launches early check-in facility in Dubai

Emirates passengers departing from Emirates Terminal 3 in Dubai can now enjoy the newly launched early check-in facility conveniently located adjacent to Terminal 3 car park area in Zone C on Level 2.

Sixteen counters at the new check-in facility allow passengers the option to check-in up to 24 hours ahead of their flight. After checking-in in person, dropping off their luggage, and getting their boarding pass, passengers will have the flexibility to return to the airport at their convenience and then proceed directly to immigration.

The check-in facility will operate throughout the week from 5pm to 10am, targeting the peak overnight travel period.

“As passenger traffic through Emirates Terminal 3 continues to grow, the Emirates Airport Services team is constantly looking at ways to innovate and improve efficiencies to ensure that passengers enjoy a stress-free travel experience and the high quality service for which Emirates is renowned,” said Mohammad H. Mattar – Divisional Senior Vice President, Emirates Airport Services.

“Our goal is continuous improvement and the new check-in facility is just another addition to our already diverse offering of passenger services.”

The facility is an easy alternative to the check-in counters in Emirates Terminal 3, and is an ideal option for group, family as well as individual travellers.

During the hours of operation, these counters are available for Emirates customers (except those travelling to the US), wanting to check in up to 24 hours ahead of their flight. Passengers with large volumes of luggage will now have easy access to check-in from the airport car park area. Excess baggage payment can be made at the cashier located in the main terminal.
