Hot on the heels of the launch of special ‘Family Fares’ in Colombo, Emirates has announced a 10% discount for senior citizens flying with the award-winning airline from Colombo to 18 popular destinations.
Effective until 31 January 2014, this discount on published fares will be available to all persons over 60 years, who purchase their tickets from the Emirates office in Colombo with documentary proof of their age.
The senior citizen fares are applicable to seven cities in the USA – New York, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco and Washington, eight destinations in Europe – London, Frankfurt, Milan, Paris, Prague, Rome, Vienna and Zurich, and also to Dubai, Singapore and Melbourne.
“A key aspect of our global brand campaign, Hello Tomorrow, is to promote global connectivity across cultures and continents and make the Emirates experience as inclusive as possible,” said Devika Ellepola, Emirates Sales Manager, Sri Lanka. “Many senior citizens have the time and the inclination to see the world or visit their friends and families abroad, and these special fares have been specially launched for them.”
The 10% discount is valid on Economy Class fares to the destinations covered by the offer, with outbound travel to be completed by 31 January 2014.
