Duck delicacies with an Oriental twist at Taj Samudra Colombo

Taj Samudra Colombo this June sees the introduction of delicious duck delicacies made especially by Master Chef Bai Ping at the Golden Dragon restaurant. This June specials represent traditional duck dishes with a modern twist specially made for all Golden Dragon restaurant diners.

Amongst the many preparations available at this month’s special promotion, make sure to start off with Master Chef Bai Ping’s signature style Duck Noodle soup along with traditional Beijing Duck with Hoisin sauce. Made with authentic ingredients, the Sichuan style Duck with green beans in green lettuce and chilli oyster sauce is a must try experience.

For those who love richness in food, the Deep Fried Duck with cashew nut and red pepper will make you want more. Two signature dishes for those diners who have a taste for finer things in life, such as Duck served with dry sherry, soya and spring onion and the Sizzling Duck with Hua Zhi mushroom along with Sichuan sauce, serve as a perfect highlight of a meal.

While the Chinese style Roast Duck with orange and chilli black bean sauce oozes with flavour, the delicate Wok Fried Duckling Breast on Pak Choy in cumin and chilli paste brings to life an array of flavours for aficionados.

Golden Dragon restaurant welcomes new flavours this month with all its signature dishes specially created by Master Chef Bai Ping. This indulgence, amidst the warm and cosy surroundings of Golden Dragon, is available between the 14 to 23 June from 12:30 p.m. till 3:30 p.m. and will also be available from 7:30 p.m. till 11:00 p.m., priced at Rs. 2,450 for half a duck while a full duck is priced at Rs. 4,750.
