Colombo Courtyard awarded 2015 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence

Recognised as a top performing boutique hotel as reviewed by travellers on the world’s largest travel site

Colombo Courtyard has received a 2015 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence award. The accolade, which honours hospitality excellence, is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews on TripAdvisor, and is extended to qualifying businesses worldwide. Establishments awarded the Certificate of Excellence are located all over the world and represent the upper echelon of businesses listed on the website.

When selecting Certificate of Excellence winners, TripAdvisor uses a proprietary algorithm to determine the honourees that takes into account reviews ratings. Businesses must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, volume and recency of reviews. Additional criteria include a business’ tenure and popularity ranking on the site.

Colombo Courtyard, nestled in the heart of the city is an urban boutique hotel which perfectly captures a fusion of contemporary style with the essence of environmental design. Moreover Colombo Courtyard was recertified still as the first CarbonNeutral city hotel in South Asia after measuring its Carbon Footprint for the second time in accordance with the internationally recognised GHG protocol published by the World Resources Institute and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development.
