The Premium Economy experience features a quieter, more spacious living space than the traditional Economy Class in a separate cabin with between 26 and 34 seats per aircraft. The seat pitch is 38 inches – six inches more than Economy Class. The eight inches of recline make resting and sleeping more comfortable. Front-row seats have a leg rest and other seats have a three-position footrest which helps passengers find a variety of positions to make the journey as enjoyable as possible.
The headrest has four-way movement offering excellent support of the head and neck.
The seat features a large meal table, a cocktail table, an in-seat power outlet, and extra personal storage space. Passengers will receive an environmentally-friendly amenity kit with dental kit, socks, eyeshade and earplugs for use during the journey. Larger pillows will be provided to enhance the onboard experience and create a cozy environment in the air. Passengers will be welcomed aboard with a welcome drink and hot water towel and can enjoy an enhanced onboard meal selection and personal bottle of water, plus additional snack choices to include more fresh fruit, an energy bar and dessert.
For entertainment, passengers can count on hundreds of selections on the StudioCX in-flight entertainment system. The in-seat multi-port connector allows passengers to stream audio and video from personal devices to the 10.6-inch touch screen Personal TV with a noise-cancelling headset to enhance the enjoyment.
To completely immerse passengers in the luxury of the premium economy class cabins, Cathay Pacific has introduced a range of special Premium Economy Class fares to multiple destinations in the international network of 188 destinations with Australia and the US being amongst others.
