Cantaloupe Levels continues its reign of offering unparallel luxury and excellence by bagging two coveted award for two consecutive years running.
Levels won ‘Best Luxury Design Hotel’ in 2015 and again in 2016 at the World Luxury Hotel Awards held in Doha, Qatar. The hotel was also recognised as the overall winner of TripAdvisors Travellers Choice award for Top 25 Romantic Hotels in 2016 and 2017 which is based on the reviews and opinions of global travel community and is the highest honour given by TripAdvisor to the hotel chain.
The World Luxury Hotel Awards serves as recognition of sustained commitment to excellence in hoteliering and outstanding achievement in the international luxury hospitality industry. A leading global organisation, it is recognised worldwide for providing luxury hotels with acknowledgment for their finest facilities and impeccable overall service provided to their guests on a daily basis. The Awards, now in their 10th year was attended by more than 400 hoteliers in over 50 countries.

In addition to being recognised by such a prestigious organisation, Cantaloupe continues the trend by being recognised by TripAdvisor. The Travellers Choice winners were identified in the categories of Top Hotels, Bargain, B&Bs and Inns, Luxury, Service and Small Hotels. The hallmarks of Travellers’ Choice winners are remarkable service, quality and value.

Cantaloupe Levels, an intimate luxury and lifestyle boutique hotel in Rumassala, near Galle, is the second property under the Cantaloupe Hotels portfolio, the other being Cantaloupe Aqua in Talpe. Picturesquely perched on the lush green Rumassala headland, this boutique hotel reveals views of a wide turquoise bay that stretches from Jungle Beach all the way to the world famous Dutch fort of Galle.
The recognition received by the group has come at the opportune moment, since Cantaloupe Hotels will be expanding its concept further south to Midigama, Weligama where it will open Cantaloupe Soul Surf to cater to and develop the chic side of the evolving surfing culture in Sri Lanka. The group will also be launching their first management property ‘Seilen Diva by Cantaloupe Hotels’, an ultra-luxury seven-bedroom private villa in Thalpe.
