Reuters:A British couple’s colourful video from their recent trip to Sri Lanka captures the “richest and friendliest culture” they say they’ve ever encountered.
George Burrell and Emma Sumner-Smith travelled to the island nation for ten days between January and February, travelling making stops everywhere from the city of Colombo to Udawalawe National Park, they told Reuters. It also included a trip to the summit of Adam’s Peak and some seaside time in Hiriketiya Bay.
British couple, George Burrell and Emma Sumner-Smith, made each other a great souvenir from a trip to Sri Lanka filming a POW video.
The video shows a carefree holiday under the warm Sri Lankan sun and the various methods of local transportation they used, from train to rickshaw.
Burrell told Reuters “the Sri Lankan people probably have the richest and friendliest culture I’ve ever experienced.”
“That, combined with its natural beauty and amazing food, makes it a place definitely worth visiting,” he said in an emailed interview.
