Boost for Yala National Park

The Development project of the Yala National Park commenced recently under the patronage of Minister of Tourism and Sports Navin Dissanayake. Under this development project, the National park will be facilitated with a ticket counter with the latest technology, a cafeteria, a tourist information centre, a drinking water project, a housing scheme for the workers and lavatory facilities. Minister of Tourism and Sports Navin Dissanayake declared open the plaque while Director General of the Wildlife S Ratnayake, Additional Secretary of the Ministry Kapila Jayasekara , Consultant of the Ministry Rohan Pethiyagoda and Park Warden Asanka Gunawardhena were also in the picture.
