Bentota Beach Hotel welcomes South African T20 cricket team

Taking a break from the pressure of the game, the South African T20 cricket team together with their families visited Bentota last week for a day full of sun, sand and sea. Situated in a scenic location with a river bank on one side and a sandy palm fringed beach shore on the other, the team decided to spend the day at this magnificent resort for a bit of rest and relaxation. Known as the haven for water sport enthusiasts the hotel through its specialised sports centre organised a range of motorized water sport activities to get the adrenaline pumping in these cricketers.

The South African team engaged in a selection of thrilling water sports such as water-skiing, diving, windsurfing, wave boarding, banana-boating, speed boating, deep sea fishing and jet-skiing. To end the day in captivating style, the hotel hosted a pontoon cocktail for everyone under a sky full of stars.
