Banyan Tree launches four new properties

The Banyan Tree has announced its plans of opening four Angsana-branded properties this year.

Banyan Tree’s expansion includes the opening of Angsana Bintan three weeks ago as well as Angsana Balaclava in Mauritius and Angsana Hangzhou set to open in third quarter of 2011.

According to a report in Travel Daily Middle East, the hotel group will also launch a new look to the Angsana brand with its flagship property, Angsana Laguna Phuket, set to open on 1 December.

The Angsana Laguna Phuket is a US$ 30-million hotel take-over of the Sheraton Grande Laguna.

It features new dining concepts, a leisure area called Tree House for children and teenagers.
