Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BETA) has revealed its exciting new brand this morning at World Travel Market (WTM) in London, positioning Bahrain’s tourism identity and establishing a strong brand proposition.
Bahrain has increased the space of its pavilion at the show by 15 per cent, adding it up to 246 sq m, allowing more Bahraini tourism establishments to participate.
Industry, Commerce & Tourism Minister Zayed Bin Rashid Alzayani said: “We are very excited to be at WTM London and to launch our new brand amongst key industry personnel from around the world.”
Shaikh Khaled bin Humood Al-Khalifa, CEO of the BTEA, said: “It is important for us to participate in WTM and promote Bahrain at such a prestigious event. With the launch of our new brand, we want to communicate this on a global platform, positioning Bahrain as a global tourism destination.”
WTM, the leading global event for the travel industry, welcomes up to 5,000 exhibitors from 182 countries and regions. More than 50,000 senior travel industry professionals, government ministers and international press, visit ExCeL - London every November to network, negotiate and discover the latest industry opinion and trends at WTM London. The event, now in its 37th year, generates more than £2.5 billion ($3.1 billion) of travel industry contracts.
