Air China is to launch nonstop flights between Beijing and Mumbai on 25 October.
The flights between Beijing and Mumbai will spare passengers departing from Beijing for Mumbai the trouble of having to make a detour by transferring in Hong Kong, Singapore or Bangkok.
The one-way flight takes about seven hours.
The Beijing-Mumbai flights, CA889/890, will be operated four times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
The outbound flight will depart from Beijing at 19:40 and arrive in Mumbai at 01:00 the following day. The return flight will depart from Mumbai at 02:30 to arrive in Beijing at 11:20.
