Travel Neth Holidays, which is a leader in organising Buddhist pilgrimages in Sri Lanka, was awarded at the recently held MASSCO 2018 ceremony organised by the Mass Communicators’ Associates of Sri Lanka. The award ceremony was held at Hotel Ramada, Colombo with Speaker Karu Jayasuriya as the chief guest.
“One of the main reasons why we won this award was because we make sure that the identity of Sri Lankan Buddhists is safeguarded in India. We also ensure that the dignity and the prestige of Sri Lankan Buddhists are protected before Buddhists from other countries. We recommend a special sil cloth to Buddhists traveling with us. We also ensure that those who travel with us are well educated on the places of worship they visit. These things make us special,” said Travel Neth Holidays Director Suranga Ranjith.
Travel Neth Holidays only takes 41 persons on pilgrimages to India in one journey (the number that can fit into one bus.) They fly to Delhi and the rest of the journey is conducted via an air conditioned and comfortable buses. The staff has years of experience in organising pilgrimages to India and they take great pains to ensure the safety and satisfaction of all pilgrims. Travel Neth Holidays briefs all pilgrims prior to departure and introduces the pilgrims to each other. The tours are well organised to ensure the safety and comfort of the pilgrims throughout the tour.
