Corporate leader Prema Cooray is to address the 11th presentation of CPM Evening For Managers (EFM) under the topic of ‘Transforming a business to achieve sustainable growth’ on 20 June, at the Kingsbury Hotel, Colombo from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This is a succession of 10 productive evenings of CPM Evening For Managers (EFM) presentation series which is organised once in two months by CPM Institute with different timely topics relevant to practicing managers.
Past Chairman of Aitken Spence and Governing Council Member of CPM, Cooray will share his experience and the role played in the development of sustainable tourism and especially for his leadership in developing the famous Kandalama Hotel, which has won many global accolades for its contribution to environmental management, food and beverage excellence and service standards of a truly exceptional nature.
He intends to discuss his pioneering effort of large scale expansion to the Republic of Maldives in the early ‘90s and this regional development contributed exceptionally to the overall profile and growth of profits of Aitken Spence and also his best practices in eco-tourism development in Sri Lanka.
This presentation is to be followed by a panel discussion comprising two learned panellists. The panel discussion will be moderated by Samantha Rathnayake as the Session Facilitator, who is a faculty of PIM, Fellow Member and Governing Council Member of CPM.
Sri Lanka Telecom Chief Customer Officer Roshan Kaluarachchi and Sapphire Capital Group Co-Founder/A.S. & Associates Resources Co. Founder and CEO Sarrah Sammoon will join as the panellists of this evening session.
