Conceptualised and designed by Antyra Solutions, Tales of Ceylon (www.talesofceylon.com), a composite destination marketing platform dedicated to showcase the history and culture of Sri Lanka, is steadily establishing itself as the ultimate travel guide to the country.

With multi-media content that delves into the tales and legends of the island’s past, as well as a host of insightful and helpful travel information, Tales of Ceylon is a repository of everything a traveller needs to plan the perfect holiday in Sri Lanka. The platform goes beyond merely providing information, to even enable flight and accommodation searches and bookings from selected partners and meta search providers.

Taru Villas consists of a collection of highly acclaimed boutique hotels and villas located in Sri Lanka. The group recently signed an agreement with Tales of Ceylon, coming on board as a Platinum Partner. The partnership between the two entities will see the niche luxury hospitality provider’s iconic Bentota properties featured on the Tales of Ceylon platform.

Speaking about the partnership, Taru Villas Director – Sales and Marketing Oshaan Weerasekera said, “Each Taru Villas property tells a story – a story of elegance and luxury, set within an environment of tranquility and natural splendour. We believe that the partnership with Tales of Ceylon is a perfect fit, as the travel platform uses the power of storytelling to highlight the diverse and unique offerings that the beautiful land of Sri Lanka has to offer.”

Tales of Ceylon has been designed to share the country’s rich heritage, culture and the indomitable spirit of its people through stories, epic tales and animated features. The visibility and traffic generated from this content will seamlessly connect with end-to-end planning information on flights, key destinations, attractions, hotels and experiences, with the aim of converting a casual observer into a potential traveller. The platform’s launch video depicting the culmination of the battle for Sigiriya has been watched over 229,000 times, with over 1,400 shares on social media, highlighting the potential of this space to engage with a global audience.

“We are delighted to have Taru Villas on board as a Platinum Partner of Tales of Ceylon. One of the main goals of our platform is to initiate active conversations about the country as a travel destination, and we do this through content that encourages travellers to ‘feel’ for the destination,” said Antyra Solutions Chairman and CEO Niranka T. Perera.

“A brand such as Taru Villas is the epitome of impeccable service and extravagant luxury, and we are confident that Tales of Ceylon can provide a platform for the group to showcase its unique brand of hospitality and luxury experiences to an engaged audience,” he added.

Tales of Ceylon currently has three partner packages – Silver, Gold and Platinum – which are offered to brands within the travel and hospitality sector. All packages offer a host of benefits that are tailored to promote a partner brand, including exclusive written features, custom photoshoots and video content. Customised packages such as a home page takeover is also possible.

The Tales of Ceylon team is selective on the brands it decides to partner with, in order to ensure relevance and quality of content, as well as to maintain a good fit with the audience.
