A new hotel opening in Dubai will soon claim the title of ‘World’s Tallest Hotel’, a report said. Gevora Hotel, a 528-key hotel set to open on Sheikh Zayed Road in the first quarter of the year, will stand 356 metres high, knocking out current record-holder Business Bay’s JW Marriott Marquis by just one metre, said a report in Time Out Dubai. Gevora Hotel’s smallest deluxe room reportedly spans 46-sq-m, with its largest two-bedroom suite spanning 85-sq-m. The hotel will also feature four restaurants, in addition to swimming pools for adults and children, a Jacuzzi facility, a health club, a luxury spa and gymnasiums, the report said.
The new hotel will be a dry facility and promises to “boast the best of Middle Eastern hospitality and exclusivity”.
