The Cinnamon Travel Bloggers Collective Asia (Cinnamon TBC Asia) was launched at the World Travel Market UK this week following its high commendation at the International Travel and Tourism Awards at WTM this week in the category Best Digital Campaign in Tourism.
The biannual event witnesses 60 travel bloggers from around the world sharing real-time destination and brand-based content on multiple social networks and digital channels. Cinnamon reached a cumulative total of over 5.5 million followers across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and an array of personal travel blogs, resulting in over 20 million unique digital impressions.
Speaking of Cinnamon TBC Asia being launched at WTM, Dileep Mudadeniya Vice President John Keells Group, Head of Brand Marketing – Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts stated, “The response from travel bloggers to visit Sri Lanka for the fourth edition of TBC Asia is encouraging. The exposure for Cinnamon as a home-grown brand and the publicity for Sri Lanka as a destination enhances our footprint in the digital space as well as provides a platform for interaction and networking.”
Cinnamon TBC Asia will be hosted in October 2020. The event will feature tours to prominent and lesser-known destinations across Sri Lanka followed by a blogger knowledge-sharing session and a Travel Bloggers’ Awards event.
