Phoenix Industries successfully completed LEED Certification for its Horana plant, being granted Platinum status, with 84 points.
Phoenix Industries is a leading manufacturer of resin-based products, with over 40 years of industrial experience. Experts in the injection, blow and extrusion moulding field, Phoenix manufactures a wide range of products ranging from Furniture and Household products, Crates and Pallets, and Pipes and Fittings. Phoenix is also a key supplier of rigid packaging solutions, and toothbrushes to other large businesses in Sri Lanka.
The vision for Phoenix’s newest plant, strategically located in the BOI Zone in Horana, was to set up a state-of-the-art, purpose-built plant to deliver just-in-time goods to one of its largest customers, located in the same area. Achieving a Platinum status LEED Certification is a testament to how successfully Phoenix has delivered on that original goal.
